{1} Farmbuildings and attached dovecote. Probably about 1830 for Evans family formerly of Laxton Hall. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate and concrete tile roofs. L-shape plan. 2 single-storey ranges. The south range has 3 doorways with 2 casement openings between, all under gauged stone heads. Range attached to east end of this range has 4 openings. West range, attached at right angles, has doorway to right of centre and casement opening, to right and lunette to left. The ranges are linked by a dovecote which forms a square corner block with a doorway in the corner, and a pyramid type roof. Interiors not inspected but noted as having some original roof structures. Loose boxes, a cowhouse, fasting pen and slaughter-house were amongst the original uses of the ranges of the model farm which this range forms part of, together with Home Farmhouse (q.v.), barn and attached farm buildings approximately 30 metres north-west of Home Farmhouse (q.v.) and Dutch barn and attached cartsheds approximately 75 metres west of Home Farmhouse (q.v.).
