Summary

Two houses that were built in the early 17th century are situated on the western side of Todds Hill, between the road and the River Welland. The two buildings are in an L plan and are constructed of squared coursed limestone with double pitch Collyweston slate roof with lateral and gable end chimney stacks. Both houses are single story with attic ranges lit by gabled eaves dormer windows and have an irregular fenestration of stone mullioned windows and casements. The buildings were in use as a parish poorhouse from 1775 to about 1834 and where then converted back into two dwellings.
