Full Description

{1} Farmhouse now house. Early C19 altered mid C19. Probably by Humphrey Repton and John Addey Repton for George Freke Evans. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston slate roof. Originally simple double depth plan, now T-shape. Single storey with attic. Main front is a 2-window range of leaded casements under shallow stone arches. Central gablet with barge boards has similar casement window. Central plank door, under shallow stone arch, has stone, gabled, porch. Pyramid roof with central stone st ck. Side elevations to left and right of main front are similar; each with a 2-window range with one leaded casement and one blind window. Central gablets with barge boards and leaded casement. Mid C19 rear wing is in similar style, with a lower eaves level and hipped roof to rear. Interior not inspected.
