{3} Building recording of 22 Church Street, with no. 2 Stamford Lane. The house probably originated in the 17th century, although the internal stack may be the only 17th-century feature remaining. In the end parlour of No 22, 18th-century panelling and cupboard noted. The existence of an oven is suggested by the rounded wall in the cellar below the fireplace.
