Summary

Farmhouse, probably constructed during the 17th century to early 18th century built of regular coursed limestone with a concrete tile roof. Originally the house probably had a three room plan, a lean-to extension has been added to the rear. The building has a three-window range of 19th century casements under wood lintels and there is a central door with a porch. Now demolished.

Full Description

{1} Farmhouse. Probably late C17/early C18. Regular coursed limestone with concrete tile roof. Originally probably 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels. Central door and porch. Ashlar gable parapet to right and brick stack to left end. Lean-to extension to rear. Interior not inspected.

{3} Farmyard with former house, thatched roof, probably Class 2a and C17th. Thatched C19th barn to the north.

{5} The site of a farmyard situated on the south bank of the Pole Brook. The site includes the remains of a farmhouse, stable and barn that were constructed during the 17th century. The farmhouse is single story with attics with parapetted gables and a thatched roof. The stable and barn have half hipped thatched roofs.

Farmhouse possibly demolished. No GIS building polygon and Images of England image suggested a ruinous building in 2001.
