Summary
House, now house and shop. Squared coursed limestone with Colleyweston slate roof. Dated to the late 18th and 19th centuries in the list description but a building recording survey in 2018 considered it may be of late 17th century construction.

Full Description
House, now house and shop. Late C18 and C19. Squared coursed limestone with Colleyweston slate roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 3-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels. C19 plank door under wood lintel, with C20 porch, to right and C20 glazed shop door, also under wood lintel, to left. Brick stacks at end. C19 single-storey extension to right has part-leaded casement under wood lintel. Interior not inspected.

{4} 33 Lower Benefield was probably built in the late 17th-century as an estate-worker's home. It has been extended and modified on a number of occasions since with possible 18th, 19th and 20th century additions. It may have originally been constructed with a T-shaped plan with an open hall fronting the road.
