Full Description

House. Early C18 and late C19, restored mid C20. Squared coursed limestone with Colleyweston slate roof. Originally probably 2-unit plan with ancillary buildings, now irregular L-shape. 2 storeys with attic. Main front is a 4-window range of 2 pairs of sash windws with glazing bars under wood lintels. 4 hipped roof dormers with casement windows. Ashlar gable parapets and central ashlar stack. One-window range attached to right is probably C19: two storeys with C19 style casements under wood lint ls. One-window range attached to far right, is similar, single-storey, reconstructed mid C20. Gable to left of main front has a 2-light stone mullion cellar window and evidence of blocked windows to ground and first floors. Mid C19 wing attached at right angles to rear has C19 stone porch projecting to left of main front. Interior: late C19 staircase, large central stack.
