Full Description

{1} House. Said to be medieval, probably remodelled early C18. Squared coursed limestone and limestone ashlar with Colleyweston slate roof. Originally may have been hall house, then 2-unit plan. 2 storeys. 2-window range of C19 style casements under wood lintels. C20 door to far right also under wood lintel has flight of stone steps. 2-stage ashlar buttress to left of door. Remains of plinth. Brick stacks at ends. Interior: open fireplace with bressumer has winder stair alongside. Ceiling beams and plank doors with strap hinges. May have been a Priest's house.
