Full Description

{1} House, now 2 dwellings. Mid C18 and late C19. Squared coursed limestone and brick with Colleyweston slate, pantile and plain-tile roofs. Originally L-shape plan. 2 storeys and attic. Main front is a 6-window range of unhorned sash windows with glazing bars under stop-chamfered wood lintels. 6-panel door to left of centre has rectangular fanlight with arch-head glazing bars, under wood lintel. C19 cast-iron porch. 3 hipped roof dormers with casement windows. Ashlar gable parapets and brick stac s with raised bands at ends. One bay attached to left in similar style was probably added late C19. Similar single-storey extension attached to left of main front has 2 C19 three-light windows with stone surrounds to front elevation and one sash window and 4-panel door to return wall. Ashlar parapets with ball finials. This extension was originally used as a doctors surgery. Rear elevation has central C19 gabled porch with arch-head stair window to right. Rear wing is a 2-window range of unho ned sash windows with glazing bars under gauged stone heads. C19 two-storey brick and stone extension, attached to rear wing, has pantile roof and 2-window range of arch-head sash windows. Interior not inspected but noted as having panelled window reveals.

{2} House, now 2 dwellings. Mid 18th and late 19th century. Originally L-shape plan. 2 storeys and attic. Single storey extension attached to left of main front has 2 19th century 3 light windows. 19th extensions to rear.
