Building record 1301/14/3 - Stable c.30m East of No.42 Grove Street (Peverels Manor)

{1} Stable, now outbuilding. Probably mid C17. Squared coursed limestone with corrugated asbestos roof. Single-unit plan. Central plan door with wood lintel. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.

{3} Adjacent to the dovecote is an unlisted outbuilding approxijmately square in plan, built of stone under a corrugated metal roof. The roof is steeply pitched suggesting that it was originally thatched.
