Full Description

{1} House. Early and late C18. Brick with concrete tile roof. Originally 2-unit plan. 2 storeys with attic; 3-window range of C20 casements in original openings under gauged brick arches. Central 6-panelled door with panelled reveals and bracketed hood. Flat brick string course between floors. Interior: Hall has early C19 staircase with stick balustrade. Panelled shutters to rooms to left and right. Trenched purlin roof structure. Used for a time as an orphanage. Probably refronted in brick in late C18.
