Summary

13th-14th century and 19th century. North aisle added and chancel restored by E.F. Law 1870. Squared coursed and regular coursed lias with ashlar dressings and slate roof. Nave, north aisle, chancel, vestry and west tower.

{1} Church. C13, C14 and C19. North aisle added and chancel restored by E.F. Law 1870. Squared coursed and regular coursed lias with ashlar dressings and slate roof. Nave, north aisle, chancel, vestry and west tower. Chancel: South elevation of 2-window range of C14 two-light square-headed windows. North elevation has single lancet reset in C19. Large C19 vestry at right angles to chancel. Gabled roof with ashlar parapets. Nave: north elevation of 3-window range of C14 two-light windows under 4-centred arches. Gabled roof with ashlar parapets. South porch, restored C19, has double-chamfered outer arch and double-stopped inner arch: ashlar gable parapets with finial. Quatrefoil in
gable. North aisle of 3-window range of 2-light C19 windows with cusped tracery. Similar west window. Corner porch to vestry at east end. Lean-to roof with ashlar gable parapets. West tower of three stages with 2-light west window
between first and second stage. 4-light Perpendicular bell-chamber opening to each face of third stage. Castellated parapet of limestone ashlar. Interior: Double-chamfered chancel arch with plain responds. C19 north nave arcade, of
double-chamfered arches with circular piers. Font, C12, circular with saltire crosses and leaves; probably recut.
