(The grid reference in the statutory name is wrong and should be SP 6120 7904). An accomodation bridge probably dating to circa 1815, constructed for the Grand Junction Canal Company. It is a single arch bridge of brick with parapets and square piers at each end

Full Description

{1} Accommodation bridge. Probably c.1815 for Grand Junction Canal Company. Brick. Single arch. Parapets with bullnosed brick copings and square piers at ends with ashlar copings. Raised brick string course below parapet. Included as a complete example of a canal bridge.
