Summary

Churchyard cross (remains of). Probably 14th century. The reamins consist of a socket stone and small portion of shaft situated to the west of the south porch of Walgrave church. The cross has been moved from its original site.

Full Description

{1} Churchyard cross. Probably C14th. Limestone. Square base with stump of shaft.

{3} Structure. Socket stone and shaft stump of a medieval churchyard cross within the churchyard at Walgrave.

{4} Undated photo;

{5} Situated at SP 80167199 by the south door of Walgrave church is the socket stone and stump shaft of a churchyard cross. See photo.

{6} Since the cross is incomplete, ex situ, and located in a sensitive area, scheduling would seem to be inappropriate.
