Full Description

{1} Coachhouse now 2 houses. Mid C19. Regular coursed lias with ashlar dressings. Centre block of 2 storeys; 5-window range of alternate one-, two- and 3-light stone mullion windows with cast iron glazing bars. Ground floor of 5-bay arcade with 4-centred arches; originally entrances to the coachhouses. Central gable. Similar single-storey wings to left and right. Square central tower at rear has octagonal stone turret with cupola. Originally part of a group of estate service buildings including Court house, The Dairy and Whistlefield (q.v.).
