Full Description

{1} Two houses now one. Mid C18. Squared coursed lias with C20 plain tiled roof. Originally one 2-unit and one single-unit cottage. 2 storeys, together comprising a 4-window range. The centre first-floor window is a horizontal sliding sash with leaded lights; the remainder are casements with leaded lights, under wood lintels. C20 door to left. Gable parapets and brick stacks at ridge and end. C19 and C20 extensions to left. Interior: Room to right of entrance has one moulded and one chamfered ceiling beam. Window seat has panelled front with inscription MC/1633 reputedly reset from Moulton Church. Remains of open fireplace with bressumer over.
