{4} 250m to the north-west of Grotto Spinney stands Fox Covert Farm formerly Newpark Barn; the name was changed in the early C20th with the planting of Fox Covert. It was built by the Second Earl in 1770 and until 1929 was castellated.

{5} New Park Barn, now renamed Fox Covert Hall. Originally had a date stone of 1770 over the door. It gave the appearance of a fortified castle with towers at either end and arrow slit windows. It was origionally castellated, but these features were removed in 1929. The structure is a Grade II Listed Building and was designed only for viewing from the direction of the Hall. It is aligned so that the setting sun falls directly on the stucture when viewed from Boughton Hall.
