Building record 2940/1/3 - Churchyard Cross c.10m South of Church of St. Andrew

Medieval to post medieval churchyard cross located In Spratton Churchyard to the south east of the south door or the church. Two steps, a socket and square, bevelled shaft remains.

{2} SP 7188 7008: In Spratton churchyard to the south east of the south door is the old cross. Two steps, the socket and the square bevelled shaft of a medieval churchyard cross.

{5} Churchyard Cross. Mid C14. Chamfered limestone shaft set in lead has lias base of 3 steps, each chamfer has a broach stop terminating in a worn foliated boss. The upper step to the base has decorated corners. Top of shaft missing.
