Full Description

{1} Structure. The socket and fragment of shaft of a churchyard cross at Church Brampton.

{2} In the churchyard, to the SE of the south porch is the socket and a small piece of shaft of a churchyard cross. Also in the churchyard is a stone, considerably perished, which may have formed the head of the cross.

{3} Churchyard cross. Probably C14. Limestone short shaft on plinth surmounted by gabled capital.

{5} Undated photo;

{6} The remains of the cross are situated at SP 71810 65698. The other stone may at one time have been a finial. See photo.
