Full Description

{1} House, now 2. Mid C17. Squared coursed lias with thatch roof. 3-unit plan, 2-storeys with attic: 3-window range of 2-light stone mullions with leaded lights. 2 entrances have 4-centred heads and plank and braced doors. C19 dormers with mock timbering and pebble dashed panels. Gabled roof with ashlar gable parapets and kneelers. Brick stacks at ridge and end. Rear similar with 4 light oriel window to first floor of No. 74. C19 one bay extension to east. Interior: Open fireplace in right room o :> Reputed to be a home of the Washington family.
