Full Description

{1} House. Dated 1763. Coursed squared ironstone, part cob, corrugated asbestos roof replacing thatch, brick end and ridge stacks. 3-unit lobby entry plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. C20 glazed door to left of centre in C20 timber porch. C20 window to far left, 3-light casements to right and first floor, and with timber lintels. Back wall of cob faced with brickwork. Lean-to stone pantry to rear. Quoins and stone-coped gable with kneelers to left. Datestone in left gable end inscribed D/TE/1763. Interior has chamfered spine beams, open fireplace with chamfered bressumer, winder stairs and collar truss roof.
