Full Description

{1} Cottage. Dated 1701(?). Coursed squared ironstone, corrugated iron roof, stone end stack to rear. One-unit plan. 2 storeys; 1-window range. Gable end facing Dicks Farmhouse (q.v.) has plank door to left with moulded wood surround and timber lintel, small square window with timber lintel to first floor and worn datestone in gable inscribed ICD/1701(?). Stone coped gables with kneelers to front. Interior has open fireplace with chamfered bressumer. Floor removed, but roof remains. Included for group value.
