Full Description

{1} House. Dated 1781. Coursed squared ironstone, old plain tile roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit central staircase plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central 6-panel door with timber lintel and gabled hood. Wood mullion and transom windows throughout with stop-chamfered lintels. Datestone with hood mould between central and right first floor windows inscribed L/RM/1781. Quoins, moulded stone eaves and stone coped gables with kneelers. Collar truss roof. Interior has some ogee-stop-chamfered :> open fireplace with chamfered bressumer, and dog-leg staircase with slender turned balusters from ground floor to attic.
