Full Description

{1} House. Dated 1706. Coursed squared ironstone, slate mansard roof, stone end stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. Central part-glazed door with overlight, 16-pane sash windows throughout. Door and windows have stone lintels and keyblocks. Datestone between central and right first floor windows inscribed ISM/1706 with laurel wreath below date. 3 dormers in mansard roof. Stone coped gables. Rebuilt one-and-a-half-storey extension to right with tile roof. C20 single-storey rear extension. Interior has ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams, dog leg staircase from ground floor to attic with barley sugar balusters, and one room with fielded panelling.
