Full Description

{1} A pair of cottages. Dated 1631. Various C20 alterations especially to Appletrees. Coursed squared ironstone, slate and asbestos tile roofs, brick end and ridge stacks. 2 storeys. 3-window range. Appletrees has C20 porch and C20 bay window to right and two 3-light casement windows with timber lintels to first floor. Outlook Cottage has part-glazed plank door with chamfered timber lintel, a 3-light C20 casement window to left and single-light with chamfered lintel to far left, and C20 dormer window. Datestone inscribed ANNO 1631 to right. Appletrees has stop-chamfered spine beam and joists and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer. Included for group value.
