Full Description
{1} Cottage. Thought to have been formerly row of 3. C17/early C18. Cruck-framed. Coursed ironstone rubble, corrugated asbestos roof, ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. C20 5-panel door left of centre with timber lintel, irregular fenestration to ground floor of one-and two-light casement windows, those to right with concrete lintels. 2-light first floor windows with timber lintels, except for middle window - concrete. Some courses of brick below eaves. Quoins. Interior has probable full cruck, 3 open fireplaces with timber bressumers, crudely finished spine beams. Formerly thatched.
