Full Description
{1} Cottage. Early C18, altered early C19. Coursed dressed ironstone, pantile roof, brick end stack to right. 1-unit plan. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Central plank door with stop-chamfered wood lintel, 2-light leaded casement windows with pointed arch Gothick heads. Single-storey extension to right with lean-to tin roof and pointed and plank door flanked by blocked pointed arch windows. Similar small blocked window to gable above. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams. Formerly a Fawsley estate cottage, one of several remodelled in picturesque manner early C19. Included for group value.
