Full Description

{1} Cottage. Late C17, with late C18 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared ironstone and brick, thatch roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 3-unit lobby-entry plan. Two storeys; 3-window range. C20 plank door with C20 gabled timber hood flanked by 3-light chamfered mullion windows with hood moulds. Left end of cottage has been faced with brick and has 3-light C20 casement windows to ground and first floor. To left and right of centre 2-light C20 casement windows to first floor in eyebrow dormers. Interior has stop-chamfered spine beams and open fireplace with bread oven projecting to rear.
