Full Description

{1} House, formerly 4 cottages. C17/early C18 with C20 alterations. Coursed squared ironstone, pantile and plain tile roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 5 units. Central section is cruck-framed and has through-passage plan. 2 storeys; 7-window range. Central plank door with timber lintel. Irregular fenestration of mostly C20 one, two and three-light casement windows with timber lintels. Another door, C20 part-glazed to left. Stone coped gable to left. Interior has fine set of stop-chamfered spine beams, some stop-chamfered rafters, open fireplace with chamfered bressumer and pair of raised cruck blades with saddle. Formerly thatched and extended further to N.
