Full Description

{1} House incorporating shop. Early C18. Ironstone ashlar, slate roof, brick ridge and end stacks. L-shaped plan. 2 storeys and attic. 2-window wing projecting forwards on left from main 2-window range. 6-panelled door to centre of main range. Ornamental overlight. Datestone above inscribed H/JE/1734. 12-pane sash windows with moulded stone sills, surrounds and lintels with keyblocks. Stone plinth, first floor string course, moulded stone eaves. Chamfered quoins to return wing which has C20 shop front. Coped stone gable with kneelers. Interior: some stop-chamfered beams.
