Full Description
{1} House. Late C18, dated 1779. Ground storey possibly late C17. Coursed ironstone rubble, coursed with first storey of brick in Flemish bond. Slate roof with 2 brick stacks, one to ridge and one to end. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys. C19 wood casement windows to ground and first storey beneath renewed wood lintels. Door to centre left is C19 wood of 4 panels surmounted by a wood lintel. Brick dentil cornice and datestone inscribed: 'M/H+M/1779'. Coped right gable with kneeler. Interior: chamfered beams with stops and fireplace dated 1685.
