Full Description

{1} Cottage. C17-C18, said to be cob construction, now rendered, artificial stone slate roof, large central brick stack. 2 storeys; 2 bays. Doorway in right bay has wood lintel and C20 door. Small C20 one-light casement window with wood lintel to left. 3-light casement windows with old wood lintels in left bay and second bay from left. Half dormer with 2-light wood casement window in left bay. Dormer with similar casement to right. Interior: chamfered spine beams and plain joists in ground-floor rooms. Open fireplace with C19 wooden mantelshelf on brackets. 3 tie beams and main rafters of original roof structure exposed on the first floor and old stud partitions.
