Full Description
{1} Dry Dock. Mid C19. Brick, hipped slate roof. 7 bays. Entrance in right bay has flat brick arch and plank door. All windows have flat arched brick surrounds, lower part boarded, the upper part with 2 glazing bars. Brick dentil cornice. Boat entrance with wood lintel on right side. Interior not inspected.
{3} A long low brick building with a slate roof covering a special dock built in 1816. This was one of the canal company's two gauging stations where individual boats were calibrated.
