{1} Probably former Blacksmiths Forge for boat horses, now store room. C.1800. Painted brick, old tile roof, central brick stack. One storey; 4 bays. Windows and doorway have flat arched brick frames. Doorway in left bay has plank door. Three 24-pane windows to right. Brick dentil cornice. C20 garage doorway with wood lintel in right side. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
{3} Two covered dry docks at the south end of the truncated line the old canal. Part of the wharf was leased from the Oxford Canal by Fellows, Morton and Clayton who built a new dock in 1901 and another, dated 1909, across the former main-line near its end. The older one has a hipped roof over very low walls. Both docks were for steam boats and originally had lantern roofs to allow fumes to escape.
