Full Description

{1} House, now shop. C.1850. Brick, half-hipped slate roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys. 3 bays. Entrance in second bay from right has moulded wood frame and 4-panel door. Canted bay window on either side and in second bay from left. Doorway in left bay with flat arched brick frame and 6-panel door with overlight. 16-pane sash windows with brick surrounds to first floor. Brick dentil cornice. Cottage adjoining to right. Probably c.1830. Brick, slate roof, brick stacks to right. 2 storeys; 2 bays. Centra :> luted pilasters, moulded entablature and 6-panel door. All windows have flat arched brick frames and 16-pane sashes. Interior not inspected.

{3} A row of cottages built for canal workers in the late C18th.
