Full Description

{1} Row of 4 cottages. Probably late C18, remodelled early C20. Coursed ironstone rubble, partly rebuilt in brick at sides and rear, thatch roof, brick stacks. 2 storeys; 7 bays, two right bays are slightly lower. Central passageway to rear, has archway with keystoned lintel. Doorways with wood lintels and plank doors in second bay from right, fifth bay from right and third bay from left. All windows are 2-light casements with wood lintels. C20 extension to left, pebbledashed walls with wood shingles. One bay, has entrance to No.39 with wood lintel and plank door with side light. Interior not inspected. Included for group value.
