Full Description

{1} Dovecote. C17. Coursed ironstone and limestone rubble, ashlar quoins, tile roof. Central doorway with chamfered stone lintel (blocked). Coped gable ends, two louvred timber lanterns. Entrance in left side has wood lintel. 3-light stone-mullioned window above. Similar window in right side. Interior: C20 roof timbers. Stone nesting boxes.

{7} The two dovecotes at the Manor House, Ashby St Ledgers were assessed by the Oxford Archaeological Unit in 1995 as part of the Monuments Protection Programme. They were recommended for Scheduling.
