Full Description

{1} Gatepiers. C17. Ironstone ashlar. Square rusticated piers, moulded entablature, bottle shaped finials. Double wooden gates with concave top, probably c.1920, and possibly by Sir. E. Lutyens. Wall attached to left gatepier, C17. Squared coursed ironstone with moulded stone coping, borders road and then turns back linking with north range of Manor House (g.v.). Similar wall attached to right gatepier has doorway with plain stone frame and wooden door beside main gateway. Wall borders main road, linking with stables (q.v.).
