{1} Shown as Candleford on Ordnance Survey map. 2 houses. Mid C18th. Squared coursed limestone and ironstone with slate roofs. Each originally of 2 units. L-shape plan. 2 storeys. Elevation to road of 2-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels. Hipped and gabled roof with brick stacks at ridge and end. Rear elevation similar with casements under wood lintels. 2 C19 plank doors at centre of each range are under wood lintels. Interior not inspected but noted as having chamfered ceiling beams and open fireplace with bressumer.
