{2} Brackley BP Filling Station. Minor rescue excavation during the construction of a petrol station 3/12/90, by G. Cadman. This followed on from two burials having been found by metal detectors. The excavation revealed six more all in a poor state and undated. Several cut features were also recorded including pits and postholes, as well as a stone area and Iron Age pottery.
{3} Following human bones being found on the site by J. Possinger, archaeological salvage works were carried out. Six shallow graves were uncovered together with unstratified bone. A total of at least 9 or 10 individuals appear to have been interred. The limits of this small cemetery are uncertain, apart from some small and probably residual sherds of Iron Age pottery there was no material to assist with dating the graves.
