Building record 5763/1/1 - Hanger Lodge

{1} House, formerly farmhouse. Early/mid C18. Brick in Flemish bond with some flared headers and front of coursed squared limestone, plain-tile two-span hipped roof, and brick internal stacks. 2-storey, 3-window range. Double-depth plan. Central 4-panel part-glazed door in moulded wood surround and timber porch. 12-pane sash windows to ground and 1st floors with flat-arched heads. Plinth, storey band and hollow-chamfered ironstone eaves. Side elevations have similar windows and cogged brick eaves. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.

{3} Drawings taken from application to refurbish the property. Unaltered it seems since its construction with a great number of original fixtures and fittings intact. Photos on DVD. No recording condition requested due to lack of time. Works had already commenced on site when visited.
