Full Description

{1} House. Dated 1757. Limestone ashlar, slate roof, brick end stacks. 2 storeys and attic; 3-window range. 2-unit plan. Central flat-arched 6-panel door with overlight and plain shell hood on brackets, approached by 8 ironstone steps. 16-pane sash windows to ground and 1st floors with segmental-arched stone heads. Plinth, moulded wood eaves and stone-coped gables with kneelers. Datestone to right of central 1st floor window, inscribed TH/1757. Thatched wing to rear. Interior has ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams, stone-flagged floors, stone cellar and collar truss roof.
