{1} Row of cottages. Mid/late C17 altered C19 and C20. Coursed limestone rubble, thatch roof, brick ridge stacks. One storey and attic; 8-window range. Probably 2-unit cottages originally. No.1 to far left has plank door, No.2 has part-glazed plank door and Nos.3 and 4, to right, have C20 doors, all with wood lintels, those to Nos.1 and 2 extending over windows to left and right respectively. 2-light casement windows throughout with wood lintels except for 3-light casements to right of doors to Nos. 3 and 4; those to attic floor in eyebrow dormers. Interior: No.3 has two open fireplaces with chamfered bressumers, ogee-stop-chamfered spine beam, other chamfered spine beams, old tile floors and clasped principals with tiles and collars. Some of the cottages forming the row have been amalgamated.
