Summary

Late 18th/early 19th century bridge in Horton Park. It comprises a single-arch and is constructed of limestone with a wrought iron balustrade and timber handrail. It connected the pleasure grounds to the park.

Full Description

{1} Bridge. Late C18/early C19. Limestone. Single-arched bridge. Low elliptical arch with keyblock. Chamfered cornice. Approaches curve outwards. Wrought-iron balustrade with timber handrail. The bridge formerly led from pleasure grounds of Horton Hall (demolished 1936) into park.
