Full Description

{1} Farmhouse. Mid/late C17, rebuilt late C18/early C19. Coursed squared limestone, slate roof, brick end and ridge stacks. 3-unit plan. 2-storey, 4-window range. 6-panel door to right of centre with overlight, pilastered wood surround and straight hood on brackets. 6-panel back door to far right with stop-chamfered wood lintel in C20 porch. 3-light casement windows to ground and 1st floors with stop-chamfered wood lintels. Plinth, ironstone quoins and band of ironstone above lintels of ground floor; coped gables with kneelers. Single-storey extension projects forward to far right. Interior has 2 ogee-stop-chamfered spine beams to original kitchen, probably C17. Other stop-chamfered spine beams.
