Full Description

{1} House. Late c17, altered mid Cl9 and C20. Coursed squared ironstone, banded with limestone, C20 plain-tile roof, brick end stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Central 4-panel door, with round-headed upper panels, panelled reveals and pilastered and pedimented wood surround. Tripartite sash windows to ground floor with moulded wood cornices. 4-pane sash windows to 1st floor with side lights and wood lintels. 3-light chamfered stone mullion cellar window to right. Stone-coped gables with kneelers to right only. Pair of C20 roof dormers. Single-storey extension projects to right with quartered sash window near house with wood lintel. 2-storey 1-window extension projects to left with tripartite sash windows to ground and lst floors with wood lintels. Interior: stone-paved hall, spine beams, one boxed other with ogee stops, and open fireplace with chamfered bressumer.
