Full Description

{1} Barn, converted to cottage, now outbuilding. Dated 1677, altered C19. Coursed limestone rubble, C20 pantile roof, brick end stack to rear. One-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 1-window range. Gable end faces Church Street and has 3-light casement window to ground floor with stop-chamfered wood lintel. Ventilation slit to gable. Datestone above with hood mould. Left angle has been partly cut away and rounded. Ironstone-coped gables with kneelers. Entrance to rear. The building may formerly have been reduced in size by several bays. Included for group value.
