Full Description
{1} Accommodation bridge. c1780-90 with slight C20 alterations. Probably designed by Samuel Simcock, engineer. Stone. Outward-curved batter on plan. Single elliptical arch with keystones and dripmould around arch ring. Solid, slightly cambered parapets with end piers with stone copings. Towpath continues through arch. Dates from the original construction period of the Oxford Canal.
