Summary

Congregational Chapel. Dated on front 1836. Neo-classical style. Coursed rubble and ashlar; Welsh slated roof with pediment above 4 Doric pilasters. Sash windows, central pedimented doorway with brackets to cornice.

{1} Formerly known as the Independent Chapel. Dated on front 1836. Neo-classical style. Coursed rubble and ashlar; Welsh slated roof with pediment above 4 Doric pilasters. Sash windows, central pedimented doorway with brackets to cornice.

{4} Independent Church, Banbury Road
Independent church erected in 1836 could accommodate 300 people. The building is still extant and is currently being considered for housing. The structure itself is a very simple square stone building. Burial ground in association with the church. The Manse, dated 1858, is located adjacent to the church and is now in private use.
