Full Description

{3} There are early records of Spring Wood in Benefield.

{4} Lidar imagery does not show any evidence of former agricultural use suggesting it was never part of the open fields of the parish. There are a number of surviving earthworks, possibly former wood banks and ditches. Others may have an earlier origin.
